CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FOR A NEW ORDAINED MINISTER

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FOR REV. NWAIWU OZIOMA

We the entire family of Umunweke, a family you were born, bred and cherished by all, hereby congratulate you for your recent ordination on Sunday 26th of January 2020. Now you have been enshrined into the priestly circle as the oracle of God, your family is extremely glad to see you excel in this mantle of ecclesiastical service unto man and God. Your family members would at this time let you know that this pastoral work is ever a noble one, and you should always make God as your first priority in life. It’s by considering God in all your dealings, the grace of God will overflow and rest upon you, then your members will benefit from your divine calling. As you have been ordained, it means you have received a new grace and power to dismantle every strong hold such as sin of greed, jealousy, hatred, adultery, crime of all sort. Be patient with your members, and always remember them in prayers because you have a new mouth of grace and fire. Shun evil which may be lurking in your area of pastoral jurisdiction.

Therefore, we say let this oil of grace continue to work out something good in your life as well as in the lives of your ecumenical members.

Thanks.

Evang. Fortune Nwaiwu
For the family, Umunweke Umuezu Egbeke in Etche Rivers State of Nigeria.

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE

Remember Who You Are, a sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu Introduction A little girl grew under the care of her guardian, Janet, due to she had lost her father, an Anglican priest and her mum could not provide for the family. Before the death of her father, her father called Janet, her guardian, and handed her over to her to take care of her. As this little child was growing, she became very much acquainted with new modern technologies in her guardian’s house, and tended to live a luxurious life, using make ups, fixing her eye lashes, and fingernails. One day, as she dressed up for a night club, and it happened it was her first time to go for the club, Mrs. Janet sat her down and said, “Remember who you are. You were born to a Christian family, and bred in a Christian family too. Why do you tend to live a worthless life, a life that would never transform your spiritual life? How soon have you forgotten that you are a pastor’s child? You now wear trousers, artificial hair, fixing your ...

JESUS IS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR

Jesus  is Knocking  A sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu on Sun. 9th June, 2019. Introduction : There are different varieties of doors. We have interior doors, exterior doors, glass doors, and wooden doors. But in all, the door that Jesus Christ is Knocking on is your very HEART. Heart is a domain of forces, supposedly a dwelling home of God. Jesus is eager and meek to come into your heart and dwell in there to feed you with good thoughts nourishing your soul to keep it secure from danger and sin, and to give it life in abundance but Satan is aggressively fighting to steal it. Jesus Christ says: ‘The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly', John 10:10 NHEB. There are people whose souls have been stolen by Satan with the wealth of this world, and they tend to believe that they have gotten all they want in life. Such people are not only unbelievers but also some church members. Their belief in self-satisfac...

Where is the God of Elijah?

sermon 3.   Where is the God of Elijah? A sermon preached on Friday, 21/12/2018 “Elisha picked up Elijah’s cloak, which had fallen when he was taken up. Then Elisha returned to the bank of the Jordan River. He struck the water with Elijah’s cloak and cried out, “Where is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” Then the river divided, and Elisha went across”─ 2 Kings 2:13. As you have been here tonight, singing and praising God, the prayers we had made so far have been answered by God. Your needs tonight will be provided for you. Say amen! Our message comes inform of a question, which calls for the expectation of absolute answers. Literary critics may term it a rhetorical question─ a question that doesn’t demand for any answer.   But, for the reason that you are here tonight for Jesus the message will yield positive answers for us. You may have heard many things God did through Elijah, sparing him from the wrath of Queen Jezebel who vowed to kill him by all mean...
